Executive Director – Senior Services, Midland County Council on Aging is seeking an individual to lead and direct all aspects of a non-profit agency in carrying out its mission. Candidate must have highly effective communication skills, program development experience, strong fiscal management experience and a minimum of five years of proven leadership and organizational development experience. Bachelor’s Degree related to human services, public administration or business administration is required while a Master’s Degree is preferred.
Candidate must be able to establish strong working relationships with community groups and organizations as well as provide oversight to marketing, advertising and outreach efforts to make potential clients aware of programs and services. Experience in developing and monitoring short and long range plans is a must. Experience addressing HR issues and in staff oversight, supervision and development is required.

Development Program Assistant (Part-time, 12-14 hours/week, Tuesdays and Thursdays) – Requires computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat Familiarity with grants, grant reporting and Microsoft Access database design experience a plus. Must be detail- oriented, possess excellent communication and time management skills. High School Diploma required. Related experience preferred.
Assistant Cook – Trailside Center (29 hours/week). Seeking motivated individual to work in a high paced environment. Must be a team player and customer service oriented. Ability to read and understand standardized recipes necessary. Experience in food service preferred. Must have or obtain SERVSAFE Certification or equivalent. High School diploma or equivalent required.
Home Care Direct Care Workers– Part Time (20 -29 hours per week). Provide personal assistance and support to older adults in their home. Assistance includes, but not limited to, homemaking, bathing and toileting, grooming, laundry, grocery shopping, and respite for a family caregiver. Physical ability to reach, bend, stoop, climb stairs and lift up to 25 lbs. required. Previous personal care experience preferred. Effective oral and written communication. Ability to work compassionately with individuals with varying degrees of physical and cognitive limitations. Position requires driving in Midland County. Starting rate of pay $9.25. Competitive pay, holiday pay and mileage reimbursement. High school diploma required, Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) not required. No nights, weekends or on-call. Employment is contingent on clean criminal and driving background checks.
On-Call Cooks – Openings for On-Call Cooks in the Nutrition Department to provide kitchen assistance as needed at all Centers. Previous food service or commercial meal preparation experience preferred.
