Not-for-Profit Lakeshore Legal Aid will present information on Wills, Financial and Medical Powers of Attorney, and Lady Bird Deeds. A brief question and answer segment will follow the presentation. The presenter is unable to offer personal legal advice to attendees, but will be able to give you a good primer of important general considerations. Lakeshore Legal Aid provides free, civil legal services to seniors age 60 and above, low-income people, survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and elder abuse, and U.S. citizens, legal permanent residents, and some categories of others.
This is a Lunchtime Learners presentation. To register, call 633-3700 or register online by 9:00am on the day of the program. Space is limited in the room, so please call ahead to reserve a spot. Lunches are by suggested donation for those over 60, or $6 for those under 60, payable at the door.
