Let’s Have a Heart to Heart: Heart Health

February is American Heart Month, a perfect time to think about your heart health. Guest speakers from MidMichigan Health will be here to discuss peripheral artery disease (PAD), atrial fibrillation (A-Fib), and aortic stenosis (AS). Learn causes, risk factors, symptoms, treatments and self-care techniques. Find out when to seek medical attention and ways to keep your heart ticking along at its best!

Make an appointment for that morning before the presentation and get a free risk assessment utilizing an ankle brachial index test: a test that can detect peripheral artery disease. This is a great opportunity to have a registered vascular technician provide early detection! Appointments available from 9:00-11:40am.

This is a Lunchtime Learners program. To register call 633-3700 by 9:00am on the day of the program or register online now. Please be sure to specify if registering for the program only or the program and lunch. Attendees planning to have lunch need to arrive by 11:30am at Trailside. Space is limited in the room, so please call ahead to reserve a spot. Lunches are by suggested donation for those over 60, or $6 for those under 60, payable at the door.
