The Music of Carole King Book Online

Everyone knows at least a half-dozen songs written or co-written by Carole King. In addition to “You’ve Got a Friend, ”“So Far Away,” “It’s Too Late,” and “One Fine Day,” she also can take credit for “Take Good Care of My Baby,” “The Loco-Motion,” “Go Away Little Girl,” “Up on the Roof,” and many others! And did you know that she once performed in Midland, Michigan? Herbert Bicknell Hardy and Michael O’Connell are bringing their musical listening experience to Lunchtime Learners. Join the fun and nostalgia with this travelogue of music, trivia and pictures.

This is a Lunchtime Learners presentation. To register for the program, call 633-3700 or register online by 9:00am on the day of the program. Please be sure to specify if registering for the program only or the program and lunch. Attendees planning to have lunch need to arrive by 11:30am at Trailside. Space is limited in the room, so please call ahead to reserve a spot. Lunches are by suggested donation for those over 60, or $6 for those under 60, payable at the door.
