Whether you are experiencing mild memory changes or caring for someone living with dementia, you’ve come to the right place. It’s our goal to provide you with the best information and support needed to live well and care for yourself or a loved one in the best possible way. The Early Memory Loss Education & Support Group is a unique group designed specifically for adults who are experiencing mild memory loss or mild cognitive impairment and their care partners. The meetings are a combination of education and support group. Members receive a book titled “Achieving Your Best Brain Health with Mild Cognitive Impairment” that will guide the educational presentations. Informative topics are selected carefully to educate, stimulate and strengthen cognitive skills. The group meets the 3rd Thursday of each month from 2:30-4:30pm. Minds in Motion is an innovative program focusing on brain gaming and cognitive stimulation. This activity based course is designed for those experiencing early memory changes who would enjoy a fun and interactive social setting. The weekly group incorporates brain games, cognitive exercises, word and language challenges, overall wellness and physical health, physical movement and arts exploration. This 8 week session meets at Senior Services. Space is limited. Call 989-633-3700 for more information.
