About Transportation Services

If it becomes difficult for you to drive, our volunteer drivers can help you get to the places you need to be. Whether it’s a trip to the doctor’s office or a ride to the grocery store, we provide “arm to lean on” service throughout the entire county of Midland.

Do You Need a Ride?

If you need to arrange Transportation services, call 989-633-3745 at least 24 hours in advance. Advance notice is needed for all types of transportation. 24 hour cancellation notice is always appreciated.

Drivers Who Care

Our friendly, caring volunteer drivers are trained in many areas of service and safety including:

  • Wheelchairs and Walkers
  • First Aid
  • Dialysis Emergencies
  • Dementia Care

Each volunteer driver carries a cell phone and knows how and when to call 911.

Wheelchair Accessible

Senior Services fleet of vehicles consists of four handicapped-converted mini-vans with manual ramps for wheelchairs, four 4-door cars, and one large seven-passenger handicapped van with a hydraulic wheelchair lift, and a 12-passenger bus. All our vehicles are important because they allow Senior Services to transport seniors regardless of disability.

Where Do We Go?

Transportation services operates within the county of Midland. Our vehicles travel from Coleman to LaPorte and from Mills Township to Greendale Township.

Our transportation service is unable to provide rides to those in assisted living facilities. For more information call us at 989-633-3700.

Hours of Service

Transportation services are available Monday through Friday between 8:15 a.m. and 4:15 p.m.

Cost of Service

There is a $2.50 charge for a one-way ride and a $5.00 charge for a round-trip ride.  Services are billed to the client on a monthly basis.
